Under the City’s alley surface-treatment contracts, our crew has treated more than a hundred alleys — and never failed an inspection.
Arrington Paving has worked with the City of Roanoke on its alley surface-treatment contracts for several years. Surface treatment — also called tar and gravel — resurfaces an alley with a layer of liquid asphalt covered with stone that is spread and rolled into place.
Under those contracts our crew has surface-treated more than 100 alleys. None has failed the City’s inspection, and according to the City’s Public Infrastructure Inspector, the City has not had to ask us to repair any of the work from prior years.
Municipal work runs on specifications, schedules and inspections. We bring our own crew and our own equipment, keep the work zone safe for residents, and finish to the spec the first time.
“The City has not had to have them repair anything they have done for us in prior years.”
